Receiving a diagnosis for breast cancer can be a frightening and lonely experience. The team at Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven is here to support you throughout your diagnosis, treatment and well beyond as you recover.
The charity funds a wide range of support to patients, from support groups and exercise classes to online courses and events focused on your overall health and wellbeing.
Jacquie and Corinna lead our Patient Support Services and are available at any time by contacting the office on 01905 733 786, or emailing jacquie.clements@nhs.net or corinna.parsons@nhs.net.
Adjusting to life once your treatment has come to an end can be particularly challenging, and together with your clinical team, the charity is here to help you get back on your feet. We fund groups, courses and activities where you can meet with people who have all been treated for breast cancer and understand. It could be that you want to improve your fitness, pick up a crafting project, learn more about nutrition or try a mindfulness session.
Please don’t feel alone, there is a huge amount of support out there for you, and we want to ensure you find it so you can move forward with hope and positivity.
