Lights, Camera, Action... WBUH on BBC Midlands Today

On 13th October the WBUH team were thrilled to welcome BBC reporter Joan Cummins and camera operator Ben to the Unit, to film a piece shining a light on our charity as we celebrate 10 years of breast cancer care and support in Worcestershire.

Joan spent time with two recent patients, Paula and Natalie, before chatting to Breast Consultant and Charity Founder Steven Thrush, to find out all about the support provided by the charity, why it is so important, and the difference it makes to patients in our county.

Charity CEO Lexi Craigie then joined Joan for a live interview inside Worcester Cathedral, as we kicked off our 10th Anniversary Service of Thanks and Celebration. Special coverage for a special celebration, we are so grateful to the BBC Midlands Today team for putting together such a thoughtful and in-depth piece about the work of Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven and the impact it has in our county.
