Walking to my birthday for Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven

💕 My fundraising journey for Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven 💕

As some of you know, I’m currently being treated for breast cancer, and the Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven has become a very important part of my journey.

Going through treatment can be frightening and overwhelming, but having somewhere that offers support, kindness and understanding makes such a difference. I would love to be able to give something back and help other people going through what I’m going through.

So, I’ve decided to set myself a £300 fundraising target for Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven by walking (as I can’t swim for a few weeks) at least a mile a day till my birthday on 6 October.  I make that a total of 36 miles!  I will celebrate on or after my birthday by having a much longed for swim! 🏊‍♀️ 🎉

I’m going to keep things simple and do what I can, when I can, without putting too much pressure on myself while I’m having treatment which is why I chose a do-able walking challenge.
